This city has such a storied past from the days of World War II to its place as the center of the Cold War, where the city was divided for many years. The Berlin Wall is mostly destroyed in many places, however many stretches are still visible throughout the city and this wall serves as a symbol of the past when this was one a divided city. Now decorated with graffiti, political statements and a constantly deteriorating facade, the wall is a place where many travelers come to see what is left and stand in the place that once served as the dividing point of east and west.

Berlin is perhaps the most spread out city in Germany and navigating the city streets or subway lines can be a difficult endeavor. Loud music plays on multiple stages throughout the event and the smell of delicious food wafts through the air. The event culminates in a Sunday Parade that has become quite a popular attraction in the city and if you are lucky enough to be in Berlin in June this is a wonderful event to come and explore. From Rastafarians jamming to smooth reggae to Turkish Folk Music, you will see pretty much any culture and musical offering you could ever imagine here.

Berlin is a gorgeous and diverse city that is quite spread out and often difficult to navigate for first timers.
